Mónica Rubio, Directora Astronomía

Mónica Rubio López

Dr. Mónica Rubio López obtained a B.Sc in Physics at the Universidad de Chile, and continued with her studies, graduating as a Master in Astronomy Science at that same university. She completed her Doctorate in Astrophysics at the University of Paris VII, in France.

CONICYT’s President has named Dr. Rubio as Astronomy Program Advisor, a position that was created to provide the technical–scientific support that this area needs. Dr. Rubio is also a professor in the Astronomy Department of the School of Physics and Mathematics at the Universidad de Chile.
