
Denise Saint–Jean possesses a Doctorate in Social Anthropology from Cornell University (United States), and has a broad background in teaching and in research. Among her many achievements, of special significance is her work as Executive Director of Fulbright Chile between 2000 and 2010. This institution seeks to encourage research and studies through exchanges between Chile and the United States.
In 1996–1997, she was Technical Director of the “Education for All” national campaign of the Production and Commerce Confederation. Denise Saint–Jean also worked as a researcher for the School of Economics at the Universidad de Chile, and as an editor and consultant for UNICEF–Chile.
