Gemini is a consortium of international cooperation in astronomy with participation of States, UK, Canada, Chile, Australia, Argentina and Brazil. Its aim is to advance the science of astronomy using his two telescopes 8.1 meters, one located on Mauna Kea, en Hawaii, U.S., and the other on Cerro Pachon, in Region IV in Chile.
The aim of this competition is to strengthen national scientific capacity in the area of astronomy, supporting young Chileans with solid scientific vocation and high academic.
