This call for proposals is developed in the framework of the agreement signed between the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT) and the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO), of 19 November 2002, to enhance and develop astronomy in Chile APEX project (Atacama Pathfinder Experiment).
APEX is a collaboration between the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy (MPIfR), Onsala Space Observatory (BEAR) and the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO).
The APEX telescope is a prototype ALMA antenna (Atacama Large Millimeter Array) equipped with various instruments and operated in the Llano de Chajnantor, San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.

This contest is for the first half of 2016, modo que éstos puedan presentar propuestas de observación para el período Enero – Julio de 2016, with APEX Telescope.
