• The number of scholarships awarded an increase of 20% of beneficiaries with respect to the previous call.
The National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research, CONICYT, through Human Capital Development Program Advanced, completed the selection process of candidates to contest Masters Scholarships in Chile, for the academic year 2013, with the award of 387 scholarships, a total of 1.333 Eligible applications.
The National Master Scholarship aims to support financially obtaining Master's Degree in accredited programs in accordance with Law No. 20.129 Chilean provided by universities, whose benefits are spread over a maximum period of two years from the start date of the curriculum.
In this call, Biology areas, Education Engineering and obtained the largest number of applicants and beneficiaries. Similarly, University of Chile, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the University of Concepción were study centers increased preference for selected.
The final award rate corresponded to a 29%, reflecting an increase over the year contest 2012, where the award was a 18%. The cutoff point of the call was 4,125 points.
Individual notification of results
Contest results will be notified to each applicant (selected, unselected base outside) by email, according to the application indicated in box, within the next few days.
