Pre-Departure Orientation for Future U.S. University Students

Date: Wednesday, July 8, 2015
Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This workshop is offered to ALL students starting undergraduate, graduate, intensive English and study abroad programs in the United States in 2015.

Topics to be covered:

  • Students’ visas (a representative of the U.S. Consulate will be present to answer questions).
  • Important matters before your departure (vaccines, medical insurance, required documents, etc).
  • Campus life (how to open a bank account, obtain a valid driver’s license and adjust to life as a new student).
  • Becas Chile (a representative of Conicyt will attend the meeting).
