Scientific Excellence Award "Abate Juan Ignacio Molina" – Call 2013

The National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research of Chile, CONICYT, and Alexander Foundation von Humboldt, under the Memorandum of Understanding "Chile - German Research Prize CONICYT-Alexander von Humboldt Foundation”, signed on 9 March 2009, convened for the fourth year to Scientific Excellence Award Abate Juan Ignacio Molina.

The aim of Scientific Excellence Award Abate Juan Ignacio Molina, is to support international scientific cooperation between Chile and Germany, through recognition by their Chilean counterparts, to the path and to the scientific work of a / a researcher / expert ao / a German / a, highly qualified / recognized and from / to international prestige, in any of the areas of knowledge.

He / the scientist / expert to the / a winner / a, must work in a German institution and make a stay in Chile with the aim of developing a scientific, of their own choice in the area of ​​competence, in cooperation with researchers / as University, The Institute Research Centre Chilean propuso su nomination.

Also, CONICYT facilitate and encourage the participation of / the researcher / expert ao / a German / activities and events to scientific and / or cultural shows performed during their stay in Chile.

 

Contest Objective:

Support international scientific cooperation between Chile and Germany, through recognition by their Chilean counterparts, to the path and to the scientific work of a / a researcher / expert ao / a German / a, highly qualified / recognized and from / to international prestige, in any of the areas of knowledge.

 

Benefits:

Unique and total amount € 30,000.- (thirty thousand euros). CONICYT shall bear travel expenses in economy class, point to point, and from Germany, to / from the investigator / a German / a winner / a, rod for a total amount of € 1,500.00.- (1500 euros).
