"Chile: A natural laboratory for the study of earthquakes and volcanoes "is the title of the conference that will dictate the prominent seismologist and PhD in Geophysics, Jaime Campos. The activity is part of a series of scientific talks "Wednesdays at the Academy", EXPLORE performing CONICYT Program in conjunction with the Chilean Academy of Sciences.
Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are events Chilean territory own. In fact, in our country has released more than 40% recorded seismic energy on the planet and, on the other hand, we are located in the "Pacific Ring of Fire", making us one of the most volcanically active countries on Earth, but how much do we know about these phenomena? The Golf Doctor conference will delve into this reality.
