Fondef Fund for the Promotion of Scientific and Technological

The Fondef project "Initial Training Resources for Teachers" (ReFIP) in Mathematics, main objective is to help improve the training of future teachers of basic education in the country.

To achieve this goal, a team of experts from different disciplinary and educational institutions in the country, led by CMM, University of Chile, first created a collection of texts for students in teacher education programs in Basic Education, aligned with the Guiding Standards for Career Education in Basic Education, Ministry of Education.

This workshop will present evidence provided by the research methodological pilot stage during the year 2012, texts that were piloted in teaching careers in Basic Education 16 universities, where they were used for about 5.000 students.
