Scientific Information

The National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research, CONICYT, through its Program for Scientific Information, Launches version 2013 the Contest Publication Fund of Scientific Journals, directed to institutions responsible for editing scientific journals containing articles that are products of scientific research or significant contributions to the specific area of ​​the publication.

The objective of this call is to fund proposals for improvements to national scientific journals, through projects that develop, at least, one the following guidelines:

 

• International cooperation for the opening and internationalization of journals.

• Strengthening the quality, scope, and international competitiveness of the contents of the magazines.

• Implement improvements in technology publishing support and visibility of journals.

 

May participate in this process, magazines that meet the formal standards and quality specified in the contest rules. Also, assess its inclusion in international indices recognized by CONICYT.

The fund has more than 143 million pesos to transfer, however, each project must include a minimum self-financing 30%.
