Regional Regional Program of Scientific and Technological Research

On Friday 18 January CONICYT authorities headed by President José Miguel Aguilera, received the visit of Dr. Donald Dingwell, Secretary General of the ERC (European Council dand Research).

At the meeting, the participation Mateo Budinich, CEO of CONICYT, Maria Elena Boisier, Director Fondecyt; Denise Saint-Jean, Programme Director Advanced Human Capital Formation; Isabel Meneses, Director of Research Partnership Program; and Maria Teresa Ramirez, Director of the Department of International Relations, an overview on Science and Technology in Chile was delivered along with the various programs CONICYT.

Dr.. Dingwell operating system introduced the ERC and its instruments, noting that the beneficiaries scientists come from the five continents.

The meeting ended after the presentation of different ideas about how to enhance the international dimension of research projects supported by both institutions.
