Se busca disponer de la información pertinente que contribuya a mejorar la toma de decisiones en salud. Para ello es necesario promover investigación cuyos resultados se difundan, desemboquen en aplicaciones clínicas y de salud pública y contribuyan a la formación de nuevos investigadores.
