In order to strengthen S & T cooperation in ICT area between Latin America and the European Union, AMERICAS Project supports the participation of Chilean researchers in ICT Day of Applicant whose purpose is to present ICT calls currently open area in the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union (7PM). Along with this, benefit researchers will have the opportunity to participate in events of European peer interaction in order to explore alternatives to postulate a joint research project.

Objective ICT Applicant's Day

Strengthen research and cooperation in the area of ​​ICTs between Latin America and the European Union by providing new knowledge about ICT in FP7 call.

The event is divided into two parts:

– The presentation of the new calls and financing schemes in the area of ​​ICT in the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union.
– Participation in working sessions, which report on how to make a successful application to these calls.

Oriented

Researchers / as living in the country, from universities, research institutes or public and private non-profit interested in applying for a call FP7 ICT area.

Requirements

· Being Chilean researcher research entity (University research center on public private profit without Fines).
· Having contacts with researchers from European institutions to carry out a project proposal for the Seventh Framework Programme call in the ICT area.
· Being invited by the / the partner(s) European proposal to conduct meetings in the framework of ICT Applicants Day.

· Motivation letter in English to bring a brief summary of the project idea and the state of academic and scientific cooperation with European counterparts.
· Extensive CV.
· Degrees and certificates (scanned).

Participant Commitment

Within 10 days of your return, him / her beneficiary participant / must deliver CONICYT: A detailed report of the activities undertaken during the workshop, original boarding passes for their flights, and proof of satisfactory receipt of their allowances.
