Presentation
In October 2004 was formed Project Directory “Advanced Center for Information and Communication Technologies in Valparaiso, CATIC Region V”, project developed by the International Institute for Business Innovation of the Technical University Federico Santa Maria, in partnership with the Universities of Chile, Valparaiso, Wide Beach, Pontificia Católica de Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and the Sea. Turn, participated in this project as a business partner and as a Club PROBE, business: Tuxpan, Disc, Solem y HighService Chile.
On that date, stipulated that funding for this project corresponded, annually, a 200 million provided by CONICYT Fondef, 200 million by the Government of Valparaiso (FNDR) and 400 million from the International Cooperation Agency of Japan (JICA), which corresponded to 800 million for 5 years words, 4 billion pesos for the development of this project, plus the contribution of the other implementing entities, universities and companies.
They raised three phases of development. The first Constitution, approximately 6 months, which consisted of the implementation and the legal constitution of the Center; the second stage called Growth, which is estimated to have a duration of 2 a 3 years and the last of Consolidation, namely, that can be maintained from the point of view of development and financing.
