Objective Contest
Foster a culture of innovative entrepreneurship in the university community, based on the development of research carried out in Chilean universities for undergraduate and graduate alumni. For this, the program promotes capacity building for new ventures, businesses or companies based on research conducted by graduates of undergraduate and / or graduate within its reports or dissertations.
In projects of this contest should participate in partnership: 1) school(as) undergraduate or graduate students who are conducting or have completed their reports or theses in Chile; 2) teachers(as) these guide(as) school(as) and / or associated researchers who are related to the area of scientific research or major development project and to give relevance to the development of the objectives of the proposal. At least one of the teachers guide and / or research associates, must have participated as director(a), director(a) alternate(a), researcher(a) principal, researcher(a) manager or co-investigator(a) CONICYT projects indicate, INNOVA CORFO de Chile, Millennium Science Initiative and Foundation for Agricultural Innovation (FIA), Tenders or internal research at the university as appropriate, during the last five years; and 3) University in which it has performed or is performing memory or thesis and the project sponsor.
Additionally, the thesis students undergraduate and graduate thesis students will consider involving mentors in developing new businesses that help the formation and acceleration of new venture. The program's focus is on the students as mobilizers of knowledge to productive and social bodies.
Objetivos Específicos:
Encourage young students to develop a spirit that values science and technology and entrepreneurial capacity to transform research results into productive or social purposes.
Supporting students(as) university(as) undergraduate or graduate materialize in new ventures, businesses or companies, knowledge already available based on research conducted, thesis, memories or titling projects, together with their teachers(as) guide, Researchers(as) associated(as) and experts in the development of innovative science-based businesses.
Promote an associative model of entrepreneurship for students(as), and that with the help of their teachers(as) guide, Researchers(as) associated(as), experts in innovative business and university, aimed at the creation of new businesses or business opportunities based on new knowledge developed at the university led by(as) school(as).
Promote engagement of universities in the generation of an effective support system for students(as), teachers(as) and researchers(as) in research-based ventures.
The(as) Applicants must be students(as) national universities accredited. Must meet one of the following requirements:
They are finishing their memories accredited degree or postgraduate thesis and commit to deliver for final review to college no later than 6 months from the date of the call; the
Theses or reports that have been approved by the university within the last 18 months prior to the opening date of this announcement. A project may involve one(a) or more students(as), you must meet the following requirements:
Be, or having been a student(a) Regular undergraduate a Chilean university accredited, in his memory or titling project is in the process of term, or in that memory or titling project has been approved within the last 18 months back from the date of the notice of competition.
Be, or having been a student(a) regulate an accredited graduate who is developing a thesis or dissertation, or have been an accredited graduate program which has developed and approved a thesis within the last 18 months prior to the opening date of the call,
If the project is submitted by more than one student(a), everyone(as) they(as) must have participated or are participating in the same memory, titling project or thesis. Within the group of students(as) should identify the Project Manager or Chief, who will be the (the) responsible for the technical and financial management of the project, CONICYT against the university and sponsor.
Each student(a) project participant must commit if possible a total dedication to the project; but in any case, the undertaking shall be equal to or greater than 22 hours a week during the execution of the project and shall have no other paid with a dedication or more 22 hours a week.
