Curriculum Evaluation Criteria Regular Contest 2012 G1 and G2 Medicine + G3

I.- Curriculum Evaluation

Curricular evaluation is based on productivity (80%) and capacity (20%) the investigator.

II.- Calculation of Productivity

For the calculation of productivity is considered the sum of articles published in ISI journals (Institute for Scientific Information) multiplied by its impact factor weighted average impact factor of the journal in the discipline:

Where:

Ni = Number of articles published in the journal i
Fi = impact factor of the journal i
Fdi = average impact factor of the journals in the discipline of the journal i

Is used to calculate the productivity indices reported impacts in magazines in Journal Citation Report (Thomson Reuters) version 2010.

III.- Capacity Calculation

The following factors are considered:

Factor A

ISI Publications as first author or corresponding author, equals 2 points for each publication. Patent 10 points. This factor has a maximum of 20 Pts.

Factor B

FONDECYT project Investigator or equivalent (*) in the last 5 years old. It gives 5 points for each project. This factor has a maximum of 10 Pts.

Factor C

Address masters and doctoral thesis, SciELO publications and book chapters. Scoring is the next:

  • PhD Thesis: 5 Pts.
  • Master Thesis: 3 Pts.
  • Book chapter: 2 Pts.
  • Published journal SciELO: 1 Pts.

Max Factor Score 10 ptos.

Calculating the Capacity

Points capacity = 0.5 * (Factor A) + 0,25 *(Factor B) + 0,25*(Factor C)
